Hoogwerkt expands rental fleet and pick up location network
Hoogwerkt, the disruptive Dutch access rental company, has passed some impactful milestones in the scale up of the companies activities. With a purchase spend of 52 million euro, Hoogwerkt is the upcoming player in the Dutch market, focussing on ‘full option’ lithium powered platforms. Hoogwerkt strives to cut customers CO2 emissions and costs and to increase safety and ease of use.
Delivery hub and pickup location network
Aside the network of currently 10 pickup locations, a new 2.000 m2 delivery hub has been taken into use in January 2019, which offers the possibility to ship customers a broader portfolio of access equipment. Further the pickup location network will be expanded with another 7 locations within the next two months, increasing the coverage in The Netherlands.
Online booking platform
The IAPA has recognised the effort Hoogwerkt has put into the online booking platform by nominating it for the Digital Development Award. Today, march 1st 2019, however we launched the completely renewed booking platform. A direct insight in pricing, availability per location, the machine selector and a fully automated customer approval process are still in place.
We are now proud to share the improvements on the user-friendliness over the full ordering process and offer the best pricing available in the market. By focussing on customer’s needs, Hoogwerkt strives to continuously improve their customer interaction and satisfaction.
Rental fleet portfolio expansion
The Hoogwerkt rental fleet has been broadened by adding a plugin hybrid truck mounted double articulated (Socage 21DJ) and a telescopic (Socage 23T) platform. By offering these two truck mounted platforms Hoogwerkt strengthens their local presence, by stocking them in all pickup locations.
